Associate Expert - Senior Software Engineer

Group Information Technology: Dialog Software Services

Reporting to: Manager - Senior Solutions Architect

Principle Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirement and provide best technical solution to cure causes in effective manner
• Propose alternative technical solutions when required to ensure mechanisms are in place for continuous service
• Designing business models of data and / or objects using various methodologies and modeling languages
• Responsible for Research, design and develop new feature enhancements for internal and external applications to add value to the current system
• Design of reusable components using OOA / OOD techniques that were implemented in both an OO language as well as a procedural language to enhance the productivity of the system
• Develop software with formal software development process and use best methodologies available in industry to stand out from the competitors
• Ensuring that development standards and best practices are followed to meet expected quality and the standardization of the system
• Following coding standards including code documentations and providing software technical documentations to address documentation requirements of the system
• Responsible for Troubleshooting in running system to identify the system errors correctly 
• Provide third level support to cure the issues effectively

Person Specification

• Should possess a BSc in Computer Science from a recognized university
• MSc / MBA will be advantageous
• 3 years' working experience
• Experience in Java based software implementation / Software architecture design and implementation will be advantageous
• Should have excellent communication skills
