Assistant Manager - Application Administration

Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Banking / IT
  • A full / part qualification in IT / Banking (CBF) or CIM /CIMA (completion of the 2nd stage)

Special Skills:

  • Training, communication and presentation skills
  • Sound analytical skills with an overall understanding of information systems & underlying concepts
  • Basic understanding of project management concepts with regards to information system projects
  • A good team player with training, communication and presentation skills

Job Profile

  • Serve as the primary contact point between end-users and applications.
  • Ensuring all issues and user requests are logged and resolved, following up with the users to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage issues escalated to various support groups towards final resolution
  • Developing & implementing methodologies to improve first call resolution and total contact ownership.
  • Participate in the development of a service level agreement and ongoing management of service level compliance
  • Maintain documentation about all common issues and potential solutions
  • Participate in information system implementation projects
  • Develop test cases, conduct user acceptance tests, train end users and liaise with vendors
