We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions in our Sri Lankan resorts.

Chef Steward

The selected candidate will report to the executive Cehf of the resort and will be responsible for:

• Managing the kitchen stewarding operation and inventory control
• Ensuring that specified hygienic, health and safety standards are maintained
• Ensuring that the kitchen equipment inventories are in order and required maintenance is undertaken in a timely manner
• Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment / utensils and surfaces
• Ensuring timely and accurate placing of chemical orders
• Employee development
• Wastage control

The ideal candidate should:

Possess G. C. E. O/L with at least 10 years experience in the stewarding department which includes a minimum of three years of experience at executive level at a similar star class hotel.
