The Edna Group of Companies is one of Sri Lanka's largest diverse conglomerates specialising in key areas such as Chocolates, Engineering, Weighing Solutions, Pharmaceuticals, Refineries, Packaging, Polymers, Printing and Exports.
In order to meet its expansion initiatives the Group wishes to recruit suitable candidates for the following vacancies existing in our Chocolates and Confectionery plants, Tea sacks manufacturing plant and Cement Sacks manufacturing plant located in Kelaniya, Ethul Kotte and Grand pass respectively.
Quality Assurance Executive
Responsibilities:
Quality assurance executive is responsible for developing and implementing quality management procedures and systems. Your responsibility is to continuously monitor and review the compliance of the internal functions with the established QA plan, guidelines and processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Would be qualified in G.C.E. A/L in science subjects
- Have knowledge of 5's, ISO Quality standards and AOL standards
- Be responsible for assuring of all incoming materials, process standards and final inspections
- Ability to generate quality related reports to compare and improve the product quality
- Liaise with production staff to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
- Minimum of two years experience in an ISO system. Experience in manufacturing organisations will be an added advantage
- Should be a practical person with ability to work independently and also should be a good team player
- Computer knowledge and ability to communicate in English
