Senior Manager – Risk Management
Job Profile:
- Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization.
- Risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business.
- Risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements and environment factors.
- Establishing and qualifying the organization’s “risk appetite”
- Risk reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences.
- Corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders.
- Carrying out processes such as purchasing insurance, implementing health and safety measures and making business continuity plan to limit risks and prepare for if things go wrong.
- Conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors.
- Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the Bank.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification from recognized university / institution with 8 years of post-qualifying experience in a Bank or Financial institution and MBA from recognized university / institution.
- OR
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification from recognized university / institution with 10 years of post-qualifying experience in a Bank or Financial Institution.
- OR
- AIB / Diploma in Bank Management with 12 years of experience in a Bank or Financial Institution with exposure to risk management.
- Membership of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) or Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRIMA) will be added qualification.
