Manager - Life Claims

Job Ref: HRM - 003/2016

Responsible for the Life Claims function and the job responsibilities will include,

  • Attending and supervising the speedy settlement of intimidated Life Claims and meet the set service standards
  • Coordinating of Life Pending Claims for Clearing with Branches and customers
  • Follow-up the Reinsurance recoveries of the claims paid
  • Train & guide Head Office and Branch Underwriters for smooth functioning of all Life Claims matters
  • Assess LIFE insurance claims periodically
  • Provide reviews on medical reports and general correspondence
  • Supervise claims related enquiries and complaints

Prospective applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • A university graduate
  • Preferably should be an ACII
  • Over 5 years of work experience in Life Insurance out of which at least 3 years in Managerial Capacity
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical skill
  • Independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet challenges
  • Detail-minded, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good command in both written and oral in English
