Cashier

The ideal candidate should be below 35 years of age and possess the G.C.E. A/L qualification. A part qualification in AAT or an equivalent qualification is required. A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar capacity is essential to perform this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high level of integrity, sound knowledge of the Oracle Financial system, ability to work under pressure and ability to work within a team are key competencies sought.

Main responsibility of the position is to ensure smooth functioning of the Domestic Express Delivery Service.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Receiving payments made in cash, cheques and credit cards and issuing receipts accordingly
• Handling invoice payments and issuing receipts
• Preparing the receipts and cash collection statement on a daily basis
• Handling petty cash payments and maintaining the petty cash register
• Handling reconciliations and periodic reports
• Maintaining records
• Performing duties related to Accounting
