Accounts Executive

Job Role:

• Be responsible for the preparation and posting of journal entries to General Ledger and reconciling assigned General Ledger account's on regular basis.
• Ensure timely provision of management reports on collection and Banking.
• Responsible for daily reconciliation of bill collection done through Banks/Retail channels and Branches and take necessary actions for over/under banking.
• Solving customer complaints related to bill payments promptly.
• Perform reconciliations for assigned banks on a monthly basis.
• Ensure bill payments made through SMS platform are correctly updated in customer accounts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Fmance. Accounting, Commerce or Management as well as intermediate level qualification from a recognized accounting institute such as CA, CMA, CIMA, and ACCA.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in an audit firm.
• Should have a sound knowledge in accounting standards and IFRS.
• Ability to closely liaise with cross functional teams.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Should be well versed in Microsoft office packages. (MS Word. Excel, Power point)
• Should be a team player with a ‘Can Do’ attitade.
