Documentation Executive
Lanka shipping and Logistics (Pvt) Ltd seeks a self-motivated individual, as a Documentation Executive to work within its Freight Forwarding Team.
Responsibilities:
- Closely coordinate with the overseas agents for cargo details
- Sending out arrival notices in a timely manner
- Reporting cargo manifest via the ASYCUDA system and SLPA within the cutoff times imposed by the Customers
- Preparation of BLs
- Closely monitor Container Deposits / Refunds
- Issuing D/Os
- Preparing invoices to customers
- Providing POD
You should:
- Be G.C.E. A/L qualified
- Be computer literate
- Ideally be between 23-25 years of age
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a logistics and freights forwarding environment with exposure to both air and sea freight and with in-depth knowledge of the local market
- Have a thorough knowledge in Sea Freight inward documentation and information requirements for different geographical locations and commodity types
- Be fluent in English, have good communication and negotiation skills
- Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
