Loan Processing Officer

Siyapatha Finance PLC wishes to announce the above job opening which exists in the Administration Department in its Head Office.

Job Profile:
Responsible for perform appraisals of business or individual loans. He or she critically analyses the data and information given by the borrower in order facilitates the credit decisions of the management. The goal is to help qualified applicants obtain loans in a timely manner while protecting company's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all the source documents required for appraisal are collected and verified
  • Visit the business premises of the prospective clients in any part of the country where a visit deemed necessary
  • Critically analyse the data and information collected and prepare financial and other appraisal reports to be submitted for approval
  • Completion of the credit file after approval by coordinating the completion of legal documentation
  • Initiating the disbursements of the facilities and undertaking post disbursement reviews
  • Administrate and maintain departmental deliverables within the service limits, timelines set by the top management
  • Ensure the Risk and credit policies are adhered to, and evolve to improve credit performance

Experience and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or full professional qualification in SLICM or reputed credit management Institute or full qualification in CIMA
  • At least 2 years working experience in a similar role in a Bank or reputed financial institute
  • Very good knowledge of loan/credit operation procedures preparing loan appraisals
  • Excellent command of English and Sinhala languages. Ability to speak Tamil will be a distinct advantage
  • Possess exceptional logical reasoning and judgment capabilities
  • Age between 24-28 years
