Storekeeper

We are searching for an organised and detail-oriented storekeeper to manage all of the operations in our main storeroom. In this position, you will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving and managing inventory.

Storekeeper

Expectations:

• Maintain, receipts, and issues of the Main Stores.
• Receive, unload, and shelves supplies.
• Perform other stock-related duties, including proper storing and safety of inventory.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies, repeat those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
• Supervision of Food Centre inventory management.

Requirements:

• G.C.E. A/L with high gradings (Commerce Stream) and a Professional qualification in store management.
• Knowledge of inventory management.
• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a store or warehouse environment.
• Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
• Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
• 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control or record keeping.
• Working experience with ERP system will be an added advantage.
