HNB Assurance is currently looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancy.
Manager - Human Resources
The job holder will give leadership and strategic direction to HR Management and Development function of the Company whilst attracting the best talent to the company, developing, motivating and retaining them to achieve overall Company objectives.
He/she will ensure smooth operation of the HR Department and will be responsible for achieving the KPIs and other standards set for the Department.
The Job:
- This position requires extensive knowledge of all HR functions such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, training and development, HRIS etc
- The person is required to design and implement best people management strategies whilst updating the management on best HR practices and current trends from time to time
- The person will be responsible in aligning all HRM & D functions of the Company to the Corporate Strategy in order to gain the competitive advantage through its most valuable asset; the Employees
- The Job holder will be required to strengthen the HR Operational work whilst meeting the set KPIs & service standards in order to maintain employee satisfaction
- He/she will design, implement and deliver the learning and development initiatives of the Company, focusing on an array of employee development needs
The pre-requisites for the position would be:
- At least 5 years' experience in HR with minimum 3 years' experience at management level
- A Degree or Professional Qualification in HR is essential whilst a Postgraduate qualification / MBA will be an added advantage
- Age between 35-45
- Previous experience in the insurance industry will also be an added advantage
- Ability to conceptualise, develop and implement strategic HR initiatives within a complex business environment together with apt leadership attributes & skills are also prerequisites
- Should be an empathetic, positive minded, dynamic and self-driven individual
- Problem solving and decision making competencies together with time management and prioritisation capabilities are also required
