Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka's largest owner of star class hotels with a portfolio of over 2000 rooms divided among two city hotels and eleven resort hotels, situated in prime locations in Sri Lanka and Maldives
We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Executive Housekeeper. The selected candidate will report to the General Manager at the resort.
Executive Housekeeper
The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for:
- Overall operations of the Housekeeping department and financial performance including, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for Housekeeping
- Maintaining set standards in the rooms & public areas of the hotels and issuing work orders & organizing pest control in order to ensure that the standards set by the company are maintained
- Managing operating expenses to minimize costs while providing excellent guest services
- Monitoring consumption and ordering replacements of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Being constantly alert for new methods, techniques, equipment and materials that will improve operations and reduce costs
- Conducting regular inspections of the hotel to ensure brand standards are maintained at all times
- Ensuring all guest rooms are in adherence with MQS 's and ensuring optimal service levels are delivered to guests at all times
- Team member Development
The ideal candidate should:
Possess a Diploma in Housekeeping from a recognised Hotel School with 6 years' executive in a 5-star Hotel or possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Housekeeping operations in which a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
