Accounts Executive

Location: Head Office

 

Siyapatha Finance PLC wishes to announce the availability of the above position in the Finance Department at Head Office.

Job Profile:
Responsible for achieving the financial goals of the company by ensuring effectiveness of accounting activities. The often includes financial reporting and management of internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accurate monthly strategic business units-wise and branch-wise financial statements by adhering to the specific deadlines
  • Maintains general ledger accounts by recording accounts; analysing and reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; analysing and reconciling accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation accruals
  • Comparison of actual expenses with budget and share the variance details with Branches
  • Reconciliation of GL balances, bank accounts, etc
  • Provides financial status information by preparing MIS reports; completing special projects
  • Ensure all payments are with relevant approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices / receipts
  • Ensure staff reimbursements are paid in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid with established time limits.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance or commerce from recognised university
  • Professional part qualification in CA Sri Lanka or ACCA
  • Exposure to computerised accounting application packages and ERP systems
  • 1-2 Years experience in a reputed audit firm will be an added advantage
  • Team player with analytical mindset
  • Age level: Below 26 years

Remuneration:
Remuneration package is negotiable and would be in line with the applicant's experience and qualifications.
