Senior Customer Service Agent - Amex Call Centre

Job Profile:

  • Ensure that a consistently high level of service is provided to all customers reaching the Amex Call Centre
  • Ensure that all Amex customer service agents are trained and up to date with all products, processes, promotions & services offered to all American Express Card members and merchants
  • Ensure that all Internal business systems and processes are followed by the call centre agents when dealing with clients
  • Drive & achieve call centre key performance indicators (Service levels, abandon rate, call quality, cross selling, agent call statistics) laid down in the business plan

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the bank, finance or service industry preferably with the exposure to similar operation
  • A part qualification in banking (completion of four subjects at CBF Level) or CIM / CIMA (completion of 1st stage) or 1 year of a 3 year degree programme
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge over computer skills
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Excellent communication, writing and telephone skills (preferably, ability to communicate in the main three languages)
