Serendib Leisure - the leisure arm of Hemas Holdings PLC manages Hotel Sigiriya and Club Hotel Dolphin with the internationally branded AVANI Bentota Resort & Spa and AVANI Kaluthara Resort in partnership with Minor Hotels (Thailand). Hemas Holdings PLC and Minor Hotels have continued their successful partnership covering the key cities of Sigiriya, Wakkal, Bentota, Kalutara and Tangalle.

We are looking for a young, dynamic and a self-motivated professional with the right attitude to join Corporate team in Colombo.

Assistant Manager - Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Finalise the consolidated Financial statements for Serendib Leisure Group (including 3 listed companies)
• Manage the group External Audit
• Ensure Compliance to all external financial reporting requirements
• Preparation of Quarterly Financial Statements
• Preparation of Ad-hoc management reports

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified member of ICASL / ACCA (UK)
• At least 3-4 years' experience in the field of finance, having worked in a Public Limited Company (PLC)
• Experience in handling Annual Reports
• Knowledge on SAP would be an added advantage
• Thorough knowledge in accounting standards / companies / Act / CSE / SEC guidelines
• Experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements
