Financial Accountant

Job Description

• Review the Preparation of Financial Statements
• Prepare & Submit daily, weekly monthly accounting and management information reports to review the company's financial position
• Monthly presentation of Financial Information to the management highlighting areas for focus and improvement
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and other statutory requirements
• Develop and Implement sound accounting practices of proper internal control systems
• Coordinate and assist the budgetary control process by ensuring timely receipt of departmental budgets as per the time limit set by the management
• Allocate/Segregate routine duties of the Finance Department among the Staff.
• Provide guidance and direction to staff to ensure smooth functioning of the division
• Provide assistance in any additional work which are requested from management from time to time

Eligibility

• Possess minimum of 4-5 years of work experience in the Finance Industry in a similar capacity with full qualification acquired from a reputed institution such as ICASL/ACCA/CIMA
• Must have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise the task to meet deadlines and ability to work with minimum supervision and training
• Having a good working knowledge of InBank Software will be an added advantage
• Should have a good command of English
• Male candidate below 40 years of age
