Serendib Leisure - the leisure arm of Hemas Holdings PLC manages Hotel Sigiriya and Club Hotel Dolphin with the internationally branded AVANI Bentota Resort & Spa and AVANI Kaluthara Resort in partnership with Minor Hotels (Thailand). Hemas Holdings PLC and Minor Hotels have continued their successful partnership covering the key cities of Sigiriya, Wakkal, Bentota, Kalutara and Tangalle.

We are looking for a young, dynamic and a self-motivated professional with the right attitude to join the Serendib Leisure Group.

Accounts Executive

He'll be responsible for:

• Bookkeeping for all financial transactions
• Preparation and submission for monthly Financial Statements and other management reports in accordance with management specifications
• Preparation of all balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
• Handling of external audits to meet deadlines specified by senior management
• Managing all payments
• Maintaining all payments
• Maintaining an accurate asset register
• Assisting in management of debtors, creditors and inventory to ensure better working capital management
• Planning and preparation of annual budgets with the coordination of Heads of other departments

Candidate Profile:

• For the above all positions the candidates must possess:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Finance Field and a minimum of 1 year experience in preparation of financial and management accounts
• BSc Degree specialised in Accounting from a recognised University and/or partial qualification in ICASL / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
• Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills
