Transport Executive

Job Description:

• Vehicle maintenance
• Purchasing and stock maintenance
• Attend to accidents and sudden breakdowns
• Maintaining the garage inventory of tools and equipment and updating the garage inventory - tools and equipment register daily
• Conducting driving trials for new drivers
• Conduct twice month training on better driving skills
• Update the credit registry book for outside credit works (repair / services)
• Any other task assigned by the Management

Job Specification:

• Living close proximity to Colombo or ability to work by staying in the hostel
• Working experience in the same capacity - 3 years
• Age below 40 years
• Passed G.C.E. O/L
• Certificate in motor mechanism by a recommended institution
• Excellent moral character
• A knack for teamwork
• Should be on good physical and mental health
• Possess a motorcycle and heavy vehicle driving license
