Credit Officer

Primary Responsibility:

• Processing / scrutinising first time credit appraisals receive to centralised credit department
• Carryout independent credit appraisals including financial analysis, operation analysis, risk analysis and scoring
• Writing narrative / credit notes for credit approvals and on-going monitoring
• Identify and evaluate risks associated with each credit paper and propose appropriate risk mitigation plans
• Follow-up & executive security documents pertaining to each facility
• Hands on experience to determine the credit worthiness of individuals and all types of entities
• Monitor and report major and critical risk issues

Qualifications & Experience:

• Should possess at least 2 years work experience in a similar capacity in a reputed licensed finance company
• Part qualification in banking / CIMA or equivalent
• Having a credit management diploma will be a definite advantage
• Good analytical skills including the ability to understand and interpret financial statements
• Good IT literate and proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
