Data Centre Assistants

The Job:

• Perform day end operations of all live systems
• Backup and restore operations
• Monitor ATMs and communication lines and take actions to rectify failures
• MOnitor data replication from AS/400 production machine to DR machine
• Perform test EODs and attend to error correction in Test and Development machines
• Maintain logs regarding various hardware and software errors and action taken
• Coordinate with other technical staff and vendors for error rectification

The Person:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking with a sound knowledge in IT
• Diploma in IT from a recognised institution and experience in Windows / Linux / AIX environments would be an added advantage
• Experience in AS/400 system operations is preferred
