Accountant / Assistant Accountant

Location: Mahiyangana Farm

The company expects to select a talented and well-experienced individual for the position of "Accountant / Assistant Accountant" to execute the required functions of Finance Department. The ideal candidate is supposed to possess a high work ethics, leadership skills, excellent communication skills, knowledge of regulations, strategic thinking ability, and strong personal skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To ensure adherence to financial and statutory policies and procedures by establishing effective finance and treasury management controls and mechanism within the company.
• Formulating of funding strategies and utilisation of finance resources effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinating the business planning, budgeting process and monitoring progress towards their achievements.
• Preparation / submission of monthly / annual financial statements and statutory reports timely accurately and in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Provision of timely management information and analysis for decision making.
• Developing the capacity of finance team.

Minimum Education, Experience and Other Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or part qualification in ICASL / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent.
• Possess at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing industry with audit background.
• Hands on experience in a fully-fledged ERP environment.
• Ability to manage work pressure and meet the deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Age below 35.
• Candidates who are in close proximity to Mahiyanganaya area are preferred.
