Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the Talent Development and Talent Engagement functions including on boarding activities, implementing training and development action plan, administering documentations relating to HRD, maintaining up-to-date statistics and assisting to carry out other programmes & projects to meet the overall objectives of the Department.

The main job functions of this position will include:

  • Executing Training plan including induction programme within the service limits, time limits set by the management.
  • Providing training administration support by maintaining records, materials and statistics.
  • Conducting reaction level and behavioural level evaluation to measure the effectiveness of the learning and development programmes and propose appropriate improvements.
  • Assisting to roll-out of corporate events, staff engagement activities and employee recognition programmes.
  • Assisting HR team members with special projects and events as needed.

We seek a dedicated, result oriented young individual with good designing ability, communication skills and sound personal attributes for the aforementioned position.

G.C.E. A/L qualification.

  • Professional qualification in HRM from CIPM / NIBM or any other recognised institute.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources field in a similar capacity preferably in the Manufacturing sector.
  • Have good verbal and written Sinhala & English language proficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing in close proximity to Makola, Kiribathdoa, Kelaniya, Kadawatha and Biyagama areas.
