Accountant

Job Profile:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with SLFRS, preparation of VAT, NBT, tax returns and providing timely management information. He/she should scrutinize finance payments to ensure controls in all areas of finance and suggest improvements while liaising with banks, inland revenue department, external / internal auditors and other stake holders while assisting in the preparation of budgets, cash flow etc, periodically.

Skills & Experience:

• Be a CA member or a CA passed finalist.
• Being a graduate in management will be an added advantage.
• 2 to 3 years of audit sector and commercial experience.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Thorough knowledge in SLFRS and established rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with sound commercial experience.
