Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) is the national governing body of tennis in Sri Lanka, which represents Sri Lanka in the International Tennis Federation. Its main aim is to popularise tennis in all parts of Sri Lanka as a professional sport and to produce top tennis players from Sri Lanka.

Accountant

Requirements:

• BSc Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• Successful completion of the final examinations of CA Sri Lana, CIMA, ACCA or other equivalent professional body.
• Good working knowledge of accounting packages.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and related applications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Audit firm or similar capacity.
• Age Between 30-40 years.

Job Description:

• Submission of monthly, quarterly and annual Financial statements.
• Assist in cashflow and working capital management.
• Responsible for all payments and bank related issues of the association.
• Handling and preparing of the Finance committee minutes.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure all finance processes meet audit requirements while ensuring their accuracy, integrity and adherence to all Accounting Policies and procedures.
• Budgeting - Annual / Periodic / Tournaments.
• Handling VAT, Income Tax and related areas.
• Implementation of internal controls and ensuring compliance.
• Handle any other tasks given by the Management related to your area of work as and when required.
