Officer - Stores Operations
Job Profile:
- Maintain receipt and withdrawal records of the stockroom.
- Receive, unload and shelve inventory.
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling inventory.
- Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies; report the same to Accounting Division for reimbursements and record keeping purposes.
- Rotate inventory and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
- Ensure proper record keeping processes.
- Manage all necessary documentations to ensure proper stock levels and maintain inventory controls.
- Coordinate freight handling, equipment movement and necessary minor repairs.
Personal Profile & Skills:
- Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Warehouse Management.
- Experience in a similar position in a leading earth moving equipment company will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Excellent knowledge of system operation and computer skills.
- Good leadership, organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
