The Sinhalese Sports Club, one of the most prestigious clubs in Colombo. We are looking for an energetic, friendly and organised personality capable of working independently with minimum supervision to join our team.

IT System Administrator

Requirements:

  • Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in IT related field and/or.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience of having worked in the aforesaid IT areas of responsibility.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Applications.
  • Proficient in communication in spoken and written English & proficient in Sinhala to be able to liaise with vendors, technical professionals and employees.
  • Aptitude to learn, disseminate and work as effective team player.

Job Profile:

  • Install and upgrade hardware components, including configurations where necessary.
  • Setup software applications;
  • IT Networking tasks with wireless and local connectivity and its peripherals.
  • Telecommunications system used in office;
  • Cloud hosting and managing;
  • Configuring, trouble shooting in: LAN, Active Directory, Firewall, Anti-virus, Mail Servers, Basic Cloud Infrastructure, 365 Applications etc.
  • Understand IT processes in the business and to be able to guide business users in case of need;
  • Management of CCTV system, Fingerprint Attendance system, UPS and structured cabling etc.
  • Providing awareness to staff about IT Risks and controls; IT industry Best Practices.
  • Overall technical support in the day-to-day operations of business processes and activities whereby Incidents are efficiently handled, managed and resolved.
  • Other projects and assignments from time to time arising from business needs.
