While good food, excellent service and a warm and friendly atmosphere have defined the Colombo Swimming Club throughout its long history, we are not in search of a dynamic and well experienced Cost Controller as an invaluable addition to our management team.

Cost Controller

As Cost Controller, you are primarily responsible for calculating operational costs of all departments with specific emphasis on food and beverage items, while being responsible for the short and long-term planning of the F&B controlling and pricing aspects.

Responsibilities:

• Control the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage, breakages and losses.
• Update and maintain the POS System with all price revisions and new items.
• Check and verify POS transactions, discounts, staff meals etc.
• Prepare costing for new menus, theme nights and special events.
• Check sot of sales in all F&b outlets and ensure that all costs are within budgets.
• Conduct respective cost sheets for all the items in menus.
• Costing all beverages (alcoholic, non-alcoholic, mixed drinks etc).
• Monitoring food & beverage inventory.
• Count, weight or measure items of incoming orders in order to verify information against purchase orders, invoices, bills or other records.
• Participate in month-end stock takings.
• Keep tab of all other material costs in the other departments such as maintenance and housekeeping.
• Any other work associated with costing as directed by the management.

Prior work experience in a similar capacity in a reputed hospitality establishments, with excellent communication skills and self-confidence are prerequisites for this position.
