The Sinhalese Sports Club, one of the most prestigious clubs in Colombo. We are looking for an energetic, friendly and organised personality capable of working independently with minimum supervision to join our team.

Main Cashier

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all members of the Club are extended a service beyond expectation.
• Handling all queries, information requests and complaints regarding membership.
• Processing and accepting all payments, renewals etc.
• Preparing daily banking.
• Maintaining and updating membership and other records.
• Handling all member communication activities.
• Collecting data, tracking membership statistics and preparing reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with experience in customer service and sales and knowledge of cash registers.
• Studies up to G.C.E. A/L or Higher with Credit passes for Maths and English for G.C.E. O/L.
• Possess sound interpersonal skills and communication skills and be able to communicate effectively in English & Sinhala.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Finacial and Analytical skills with strong negotiation skills, customer satisfaction oriented.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Quick thinker with excellent problem solving skills.
• Well organised and detail oriented and willing to take ownership and ensure duties are carried out with minimal supervision.

A remuneration package in keeping with applicants' work experience will be offered to the selected candidate.
