Accounts Assistant (Credit Control)

As an Accounts Assistant  Credit Control attached to Finance Division of Lankem Ceylon PLC, the selected candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate execution of functions attached to Credit Control operations, whilst complying with statutory / Company requirements.

Accounts Assistant (Credit Control)

The selected candidate(s) shall:

• Be responsible for accurate documentation of the customer creation process.
• Post and allocate customer payments in an accurate and a timely manner.
• Be responsible for processing credit orders whilst ensuring all required approvals in place.
• Manage end to end activities pertaining to return cheques whilst maintaining records and relevant documentation.
• Carryout customer reconciliations in a timely manner ensuring a high level of accuracy in details / information shared with the customers.

Prerequisites:

• A part qualification from a recognised Accounting Institute (ICASL / CIMA / ACCA / CMA / AAT).
• 3 passes in G.C.E. A/L preferred in Commerce stream.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a computerised environment with minimum supervision.
• Possess 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
