We require an energetic, self-motivated and hardworking individual for the following vacancy at our factory office at No: 111, Maitree Mawatha, Ekala, Ja-Ela.

Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting functions in manufacturing environments.
  • Preparation of manufacturing budgets, and marginal/full cost analysis along with the variance management reports.
  • Strategically roll out the company KPI and achieve the cost optimisation targets.
  • Handle export documentation, logistic coordination, and related works.
  • Strong experience in stock control, logistics management, and local & foreign procurement processes.
  • Verification of financial transactions for accuracy and authorisation of supplier payments.
  • Handle local taxes including VAT.
  • High-level involvement in ERP system development and implementation.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the factory's finance and store teams.

Job Requirement:

  • Candidate should be partly qualified in CA/CIMA with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the manufacturing OR Construction sector. Holding an accounting or similar degree in a recognised university will be an added advantage.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in IT, those who have worked with SAP/ERP system would be a definite advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when required.
  • Age below 28 years of old.
