Banking Assistant / Senior Banking Assistant (card Operations) 

The job holder would be required to investigate and prevent internal & external frauds and fraudulent actions.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of fraud risks and risk management processes in order to identify and monitor fraud risks within the organization
• Manage VRM & EMS Rules, monitor Transactions, supervise Merchant related activities from FCD perspective, carry out Spot Audits in the department
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Fraud Risk processes, tools, policies, sUndards, and procedures
• Analyse activities to detect and prevent fraudulent actions based on reports, alerts or notifications from third parties requesting assistance
• Responsible for managing existing rules and creating new rules under the guidance of the superiors I Ensure that all alert generation and real time decision rules are placed appropriately
• Ensure all transactions routes via payment cards are tracked and monitored
• Monitor MPGS, POS merchant transactions
• Monitor wallets & aggregator
• Review Merchant Applications when enrolling new merchants
• Make sure the details required by the Compliance & Risk Departments are provided before the due dates as requested by the relevant stakeholders 

Experience & Qualifications:

• Full or part qualification in Banking or Finance
• Sound knowledge on Payment Card Network Operations (VISA / MasterCard / JCB / LankaPay)
• Experience in Dispute Resolution, Fraud Monitoring & Investigations related to payment card transactions or previous experience in a compliance environment, preferably handling fraud transaction review and financial fraud
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office/MS Excel)
• Ability to use G-suite would be a definite advantage
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and analytical skills
