Sales Manager

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible to develop and foster business through proactive direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the property. Also develop strategic action plans for the club to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to market and sell the rooms to ensure high levels of occupancy & ARR levels.
  • Responsible for individual, corporate and travel agent room sales for the club.
  • Clearly understanding the club's business strategies and then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Developing and executing an online marketing & sales strategy for rooms.
  • Implement all sales action plans as outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to the club by corporate clients & travel agents.
  • Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication and develop professional long term business relationships.
  • Provide highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
  • Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Executive and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. generating proposal, customer correspondence, making the reservations etc).
  • Targeting key accounts potential for the company.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
  • Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.

Skills & Requirements:

  • An educational qualification in sales & marketing is preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum 2/3 years of experience in the hospitality sector would be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in sales is a must.
  • Should have excellent PR, negotiation, presentation & communication skills.
  • Strong ability to actively manage current technology for the benefit of the club i.e. FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc. and think creatively to come up with strategies and campaigns to drive sales in such mediums.

Prior work experience in a similar capacity in a reputed hospitality establishments, with excellent communication skills in English, computer literacy and self-confidence are prerequisites for the job.
