Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

Job Role:

• Create awareness and ensure implementation of controls as well as sound business practices and procedures.
• Verify documentation relating to transactions and ensure compliance with exposure and authority limits, and guidelines approved by the management.
• Identify the risks faced by the company and ensure that these risks are mitigated by introduction and implementation of sound controls and procedures.
• Prepare audit reports with analysis, appraisals and recommendations.
• Liaising and interlacing directly with Section Heads and Staff in reviewing business issues and resolution plans, as well as executing risk assessment on critical business processes.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Fully qualified Final Level in CA/ACCA/CIMA or Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualification.
• At leat 4 years experience in an Audit Firm or worked in Internal Audit at a reputed organisation (Experience in Retail Industry will be an added advantage).
• Ability to work independently and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
