Accounts Executive

Requirements:

  • Partly qualified in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA or fully qualified in AAT.
  • Competency in credit management, cash, cheque and credit card clearing process in SAP.
  • Minimum 5- year experience in the similar capacity.
  • Good understanding of clearing process, bank reconciliation process and credit management.
  • Good team player who can coordinate sales admin team, cashiers and other internal customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Confirming direct deposits of all bank accounts to business units and posting parked deposit slips to the cheque clearing and bank clearing.
  • Clearing open items in cheque clearing and bank clearing accounts and preparing banks reconciliation.
  • Preparing upload template using credit card statements received from the bank and uploading the same to SAP and clearing open items in credit card clearing accounts.
  • Preparing stamp duty report, posting journal entry and preparing and validating the check list of credit files documents and submit for approval.
  • Mailroom operations management including customer outstanding statement, credit facility approval letter and return cheque letters to customers.
  • Perform credit release as per SLA and credit release SOP and circulate credit release performance dashboard and responsible for bank guarantee process and maintain SVAT process tracker update.
