Lanka Shipping and Logistics (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a self motivated individual to join as a

Customer Service & Documentation Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparation of sailing schedule
  • Co-ordinate activities with the shippers and vessel operators in order to ensure FCL cut off time and required space
  • Follow up with shippers to obtain B/L instructions
  • Responsible for preparation of weekly reports of loading
  • Willing to go on sales visits if required
  • Be responsible for obtaining release orders from the carrier and issue it to the customer within the stipulated time frames
  • Coordinate with liner to obtain invoices and negotiate exchange rates for invoicing
  • Ensure timely deliveries of invoices to customers
  • Responsibility of issuing delivery orders & B/Ls

You should:

  • Be G.C.E. A/L qualified
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Liner and Freight Forwarding
  • Be fluent in English, have good communication and negotiation skills
  • Be Computer literate
  • Be fluent in Asycuda system
